Cozy retreat with wildlife sightings, but noise from other rooms was bothersome.

stayed here for 1 night and it was amazin! the room was realy comfy with a big king size bed and had everything we needed. breakfast was really good, plenty of food to choose from and the hosts were super friendly n helpful. we enjoyed chillin in the garden in the evening, even tho a few midges were about haha. loved the little extras like the complimentary dram and tasty pizza options!

the noise from other rooms can be a lil annoying at times, and it was a bit hot in our room with the window open all night.

Don't miss the local wildlife watching opportunities. they're a highlight of the area and can enhance your stay immensely.

great stay but room could be larger

The King Room offers a comfortable king-size bed and an exquisite garden view that’s a killer backdrop to wake up to. the decor has a homey charm that makes you feel welcomed right when you walk in—just what you need after a long day of adventures.

While the upstairs noise from guests moving around can be disruptive if you're in a downstairs room, this could be a minor irritant that some may overlook. The duvet, while cozy, felt a bit too heavy for the warm weather, making it tough to find that sweet spot for sleeping comfortably. A couple of extra touches like hand soap at the sinks or bottles of spring water in the dining area would improve the overall experience, especially for those not into sodas or alcohol.

If you’re a fan of inventive salads, the breakfast spread will blow your mind! The wee dram offered upon arrival is a cheeky touch too. Plus, the hosts have stellar local tips that’ll lead you to delightful spots. Perfect for wildlife watching, including pine martens!

A heads-up—getting to the B&B means navigating some narrow roads, so plan your supper spot ahead. But once you’re there, it’s utterly worth the trek!

We stayed for a night and were blown away by the stunning views and the friendly hosts. The room was super comfy, and we loved chillin' in the guest lounge. Breakfast was a total winner too—best of our NC500 trip! The only thing is, the picnic area was a bit dusty. Still, such a gem of a place!

The tranquil setting offered breathtaking views and a cozy atmosphere, but being slightly secluded, planning meals in advance would be advisable.

Marion and Moray provide a warm welcome at the Applecross B&B with stunning garden views and delicious breakfasts. The stay was delightful, although the remote location means you'll need to drive for dining options. a comfortable experience I’d be happy to revisit.

Wildlife watching opportunities

The King Room with Garden View impressed with its size and cleanliness. The hosts, Marion and Moray, radiated warmth and hospitality. They went above and beyond to make my stay special. Breakfast options were vast and delicious. Enjoyed the view from the garden while relaxing. noise from upstairs guests was disruptive during the night. The thick duvet was too warm for the current weather, which made it difficult to sleep well. the experience was memorable, and even with these issues, I would consider returning in the future.

The B&B & Self Catering Cabins radiated charm and warmth, with cozy common areas and stunning views. The decor felt like a delightful cross between a Scottish lodge and a cozy auntie's living room, complete with lovely touches everywhere.

A lift would be beneficial for ease of access.
